Austin, TX (July 17, 2025) – iA American Warranty Group (iA American) is pleased to announce the addition of two accomplished industry veterans to its executive leadership team: Chad Ammons as Senior Vice President – Strategy and Business Development, and Mark Rau as Chief Operating Officer. 

Chad Ammons brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic planning, business transformation, and digital innovation across the automotive and fintech sectors. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Global Strategy & Innovation at Assurant, where he led the development of sales and marketing strategies, built agile cross-functional teams, and cultivated high-impact partnerships. Chad is known for his ability to turn complex challenges into growth opportunities and for driving digital transformation in legacy-constrained organizations.  

Mark Rau joins iA American with over 40 years of leadership experience in the automotive and insurance industries. He most recently served as Vice President of Profitability Management for Assurant Global Automotive, and previously held roles as VP of Global Auto Operations and VP of Reinsurance and Risk Management. Prior to Assurant, Mark spent more than two decades at American Financial & Automotive Services Inc. as Vice President of Operations, where he oversaw nationwide operational functions and implemented scalable systems to support the company’s growth.
